This new model blends classic cruiser charm with contemporary technology and enhanced comfort.The 2026 Avenger comes mainly in two variants: Avenger Street 160 and Avenger Cruise 220, catering to different cruiser preferences.
Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise 2026
The Avenger 220 Cruise continues with a 220cc oil-cooled, BS7-ready engine delivering about 19.2 PS of power at 8,500 rpm and 18.7 Nm torque at 7,000 rpm. This engine has been re-engineered for smoother throttle response, cleaner emissions, and improved fuel efficiency, approximately 40 km/l under mixed riding conditions. It features dual-channel ABS, a 280 mm front disc, and 230 mm rear disc brakes for safety. The bike is slightly lighter at 165 kg thanks to frame redesign and lightweight alloy components. It has a 13-liter fuel tank and a ground clearance of 169 mm, suitable for Indian roads. Additional updates include a semi-digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, redesigned comfortable seat, and three new colors: Midnight Steel, Desert Tan, and Ocean Mist Blue. An optional touring kit is also available for long-distance riders.
Bajaj Avenger Street 160 2026
The Avenger Street 160 sports a 160cc single-cylinder engine producing 15 PS and 13.7 Nm torque. It is air-cooled with fuel injection and has a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 160 cc variant emphasizes mileage and city commute friendliness with around 47.2 km per liter mileage and weighs 156 kg. Key features include a digital speedometer, analog tachometer, ABS single-channel for safety, and DRLs.
